Paragraph 2 (TO BE WRITTEN UP PROPERLY): One year later (2007), Haibara Yu is killed on a mission that was inappropriately assigned, the curse clearly too powerful. Nanami's devastated. (HC: He finishes out his time at Jujutsu High, graduating after his third year, but leaves immediately after). Nanami runs away, leaving the sorcery world to become a salaryman at a corporation (stockbroker or investment banker?), telling himself that curses and people have nothing to do with him. Having a purpose in life and doing anything worthwhile have nothing to do with him. He'll just "half-heartedly" focus on making money until he can retire at 30 or 40, move to a country with a low cost of living, and live quietly.

Paragraph 3 (TO BE WRITTEN UP PROPERLY): but he's a big fat liar because this dummy cares a whole bunch, both about other people (he's very concerned about treating their money carefully though he'd make more himself if he was more risky) and working his ass off (there well after others have left, to the daylights hours). & you know cute ass bakery chick exorcism and he goes back, claiming it's because he has more aptitude for sorcery, but clearly because he can't help but want to help people.

Paragraph 4 (TO BE WRITTEN UP PROPERLY): he says it's been 4 years since he left the school in that flashback, which was probably circa 18, so he probably returned at like, 23? let's go with 23. anyway he called gojo who laughed at him and then he became a first grade and at some point impressed ino, got his blackflash record in geto suguru's 2017 Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, gets followed to hokkaido by gojo satoru in 2018, looks after itadori yuuji on a mission.... blah blah blah

Paragraph 2 (TO BE WRITTEN UP PROPERLY): yeah no he cares a lot but it's not a tsun thing it's a self-regulation thing. uhhh stuff to talk about: haibara's death fucked him up big time, so he's big on protecting kids and putting them first always. he thinks he's a purposeless (and probably expendable) coward, someone who isn't frustrated at his uselessness/powerlessness and, during the time he'd run away from sorcery, convinced himself he's someone who doesn't have a purpose in life or care about having anything worthwhile to do...just make money money money money money and retire... actually insert something about interesting counterpoint to meimei who really IS all about money AND makes it to malaysia, but anyway, he cares a lot (too much, that's why he ran away), extremely values gratitude, the "aptitude" that brought him back to sorcerer, is that ability to help other people in whatever small way he can... he does want purpose, does feel frustrated at his lack of power, does want to help
